In 2010, Gagan Saraswat arrived in Delhi and was dismayed at the high levels of pollution in Delhi. A farmer at heart, he wanted to do something to help reduce pollution and started researching on the internet about urban gardening and plantation. Gagan learnt all about how gardens and green spaces could reduce pollution and started making people aware about them.
Passionate about gardening and egged on by friends and relatives for whom he had created picturesque urban gardens, Gagan started Bagbani in 2013. More than a vocation, Bagbani is a labour of love that is centered on a simple idea; “Nature hai toh future hai”.
Through Bagbani, Gagan strives to make a difference in the lives of people and to create a world without pollution. He makes constant efforts to create awareness among people about the benefits of cultivating gardens and plantations.
